研究室簡介:花粉學研究室
本研究室主要研究題材為被子植物和裸子植物之花粉
(1) 花粉形態:本研究室二十年來,不斷收集各地區植物花粉,經過化學酸化處理後,以光學顯微鏡和掃描式電子顯微鏡拍照並研究花粉形態、分類和演化,建立花粉圖庫,以作為各項花粉鑑定之依據。
(2) 花粉萌發:研究花粉在不同濃度的臭氧下之萌芽,探討花粉在環境汙染下之存活率。
(3) 花及花粉之發育:使用光學顯微鏡、掃描式和穿透式電子顯微鏡,研究花部發育、小孢子形成、花粉發育和花粉壁發育,並配合各種組織化學染色的方法,觀察在不同的發育階段,花藥壁、小孢子、花粉粒等細胞中各種胞器和化學物質之變化,進而探討花粉不孕性及花粉演化。
(4) 空中花粉:利用孢粉收集器於陽明山和金門等地收集空中花粉,經鑑定和分析,建立孢粉曆,探討不同的生態地區,於全年中空中漂浮的花粉種類和量的變化,以做為研究花粉過敏症的先驅資料;並探討花粉受不同氣候和地形影響的傳播,以做為分析地下花粉之基本資料。
(5) 蜂蜜花粉:由分析蜂蜜中花粉的種類和數量,可辨別真蜜和偽蜜,並可知蜜源植物和地域來源。近年來並加入分析蜂蜜中的類黃酮素,而建立了檢驗台灣龍眼蜜與泰國龍眼蜜之方法,以確保本國蜂農及消費大眾之利益。
(6) 地下化石花粉分析:採取陽明山國家公園之鴨池、新竹鴛鴦湖、宜蘭神秘湖等地之湖泊沉積物,經過化學處理淬取花粉後,鑑定並計數花粉的種類及數量。由不同地層中花粉組合的變化,配合C-14定年的結果,推演全新世以來湖泊周圍植被之變遷,並進而推測當時氣候的變化、人類的活動情況,建立全新世植被、氣候與人類活動的變遷史,以與「全球變遷」之研究接軌。
