水獺 臺灣葉鼻蝠

研究重點以哺乳類為主，主要研究課題包括：(1) 福山森林生態系哺乳動物長期研究，研究重點在探討哺乳動物與植物之互動關係，尤其是哺乳動物對種子傳播，植物更新的影響；(2) 水獺族群生態與保育研究；(3)生物資源調查－－哺乳動物部份；(3) 臺灣獼猴、蝙蝠、囓齒目、食肉目等之生物學研究；(4) )永續臺灣評量系統研究。長程目標在逐步建立本土哺乳動物資料庫，累積本土哺乳動物生物學基本資料，並探討哺乳動物在本土生態系的角色與功能。
